Notice that you normally never see any advertisements for the company’s they are involved with, but why?
Because they are focused on branding themselves and not the companies they are distributors for, this may seem strange to some of you but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense.
People join people not companies and the sooner you realize that the sooner you will have a better understanding of why you are not getting the results you are looking for in your network marketing company.

All I can say is please do not do this, this is an un-personal as it gets and is a complete turnoff to all potential prospects who visit your Facebook page.
Its perfectly fine to share information about your company but the first thing that people should see when they visit your blog or social media accounts is you, let them get to know you which will make you more likeable and give you the opportunity to earn their trust and respect.
Plus we all know that from time to time we will need to change the network marketing companies we work for, if you build a following around you, you will have a much better chance of convincing people to follow you to your new company.
2. It All Starts With Your Story – This is the one thing that most network marketers seem to ignore and wind up losing a ton of sales as a result.

Once you have your 4 or 5 core distributors and they are rocking it and growing and strong team then you can focus on duplicating that same system over again but if you are out constantly recruiting the wrong types of people into your organization who are going to take up all of your time and never produce results, then you are taking time away from the ones who are.
4. Establish A Strong Online Presence – if you are not utilizing this 24/7 marketing monster called the internet yet you are definitely at a huge disadvantage in your network marketing company.
Now some companies have policies and procedures as it relates to marketing online so be sure to check your specific company’s policies to see what is allowed before proceeding but if you company allows you to market online then establishing a strong online presence is a must.
Establishing a strong online presence could mean you establish a blog, get involved with social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and or start making videos for YouTube.
You will truly be amazed how many more leads you can generate from a simple blog or frequently updated Facebook page but you will never find out if you do not get started.

5. Duplication – we have already talked about duplication in step 3 but I feel that it is so important that we mention it again.

- Constantly having distributors dropping out
- Signing up a ton of reps who never produce results
- Good reps with a ton of potential throwing in the towel
- Spending way to much time trying to convince people to join your organization

I cannot say this enough, if you do not have a success system that can be duplicated, you are bound for failure in this business.

6. Treat Your Down-line Like Gold – if seeing this one on my list surprised you then you really need to look at why you are in this business in the first place.
Your downline is the most important ingredient in your success sauce and you must treat everyone on your team like gold and give them everything they need to be successful.
That could be support, motivation, counseling, being there for a 3 way call or whatever else it takes to help your team mates remain motivated and keep seeing results.
Here are some of the ways that I use to treat my downline like gold to give a few ideas:
- Continuous training and development
- Weekly team calls
- Weekly email updates
- Being available for 3 way calls and web conferences
- Sending out product samples
- Offering access to me through email, phone, text and Skype
- Providing support, motivation, and counseling when needed
7. Never Stop Learning – network marketing is a constantly evolving business and things are changing each and every day, it is up to you to stay up to date with the latest strategies, trick, tips and industry trends or you will quickly get left behind.
You should strive for learning something new each day, that can come in the form of reading books, magazine, videos, attending conferences, or however else you chose but the key to learn daily and take action on what you learn.

Your up line is the place that you should be able to go with any questions you have and get help in coming up with new ideas and strategies to increase your sales and grow your business.
I hear it all to often that “my sponsor sucks” or “my sponsor never helps me”, and unfortunately this is the case for many people but don’t stop there, go above your sponsor and above them if you have to until you find the support you are looking for.
Bad sponsors are just part of network marketing and I do not see it going away anytime soon, this does not mean you are on your own, contact the leader of your team if you have to and I am sure they will or will find someone who will provide whatever support you need.
9. Expand Your Customer Pool – too many network marketers only focus on growing their team and do not focus on the commissions that come from retail sales.
Personally for me, I would rather have a solid team of a few strong distributors and focus all of my attention on growing my customer pool because that is where the money is.
Take a look at your company’s compensation plan and I am sure you will agree that retail sales often pay considerably more than team volume, so if you are not making much money from your network marketing business and are not focused on retail sales, this could be why.
10. Be Everywhere – I saved this one for the end because if you fail to do the ones above then this one means nothing in the long run.
