Hello and thanks for taking the time to check out my about me page.
My name is Justin, founder and author of Next35.com
That’s me and my beautiful wife below
What is Next35.com
I started Next35.com the day that I turned 35 years old because I figured it is about time that I start taking my life, career and future seriously and figured what better way to keep me focused on my goals than to create a blog that focused on all of my goals and interests in life.
The main focuses of this blog are:
While these are some rather broad topics, I will be breaking them down and discussing specific areas inside each focus that interest me and my readers.
Who Is Justin Woitena?
I am 35 years old, live just outside of Atlanta, GA and am married to the love of my life (that hottie in the picture above) 🙂
I have a bachelors degree in Business Management but have spent the last 15 years of my career as manager in various distribution warehouses.
My dreams have always been to marry the love of my life, start a family, start my own business and live life on my terms and while I have not accomplished all of my dreams yet, I am getting closer each and every day.
I created this blog to help my stay focused on my dreams and to share our progress as we go.
My blog will be the best place to get more information about who I am, what I like and what my interests are as that is the place where I will be sharing the most information about me.
How Did I Get Started In Blogging?
My online career started when I worked for small golf shop in high school, this was when sites like eBay and Amazon were still relatively new and were not the industry giants they are today.
I began selling golf clubs we purchased and took in on trade on eBay and quickly realized this was the way to go as I could sell more sets of golf clubs in a day online than we had customers coming through the front door.
That got me thinking what else I could sell online to increase my income, so I began buying wholesale and liquidation merchandise that I could flip online for profit which went well several years until eBay and Amazon got so saturated and became so expensive to sell through that it became harder and harder to make a dollar.
I knew the power of the internet but also realized that I needed something else besides buying and selling goods, that is when I discovered affiliate marketing and blogging.
Google Sniper 2.0 was my introduction into internet marketing and within days of getting started I knew this was something I was going to enjoy and could be very successful with.
My first ever blog was a little sniper site about the Fitbit activity tracker and I still remember building the entire site in about 3 days, then checking it everyday for about 2 months and wondering why no one was visiting my site.
I actually got so frustrated that I built the site and no one was visiting that I decided to quit internet marketing and look for something else, while I was looking I noticed a deposit into my checking account for over $900 which came from the affiliate company of Fitbit.
Turns out it takes a few months for new sites to get settled in and start generating traffic from the search engines. who knew!
Long story short, that little 6 page blog went on to make me well over $4,000 a month for at least 10 months before Fitbit decided that I violated their trademarked name by using Fitbit in the url of my domain and canceled my affiliate account with them.
While it sucked to lose that income at the time it proved that blogging and internet marketing does work and I have been hooked ever since.
I have been blogging for the past 6 years and in that time have gotten pretty good at what I do, I am still not a big time professional like some of the big names in the industry but my goal is to turn my passion for blogging into a full-time career within the next 2 years.
Over the next few months I will be starting a new section of my blog dedicated to teaching those looking to get started in blogging the fundamentals of how to start and manage a profitable blog as well as diving into more advanced internet marketing techniques and strategies.
I will always stay true to the roots of this blog and continue to publish new content on the 4 focus areas I started this blog with which are: Family, Fun, Health and Wealth
Also stay tuned as I will soon be adding links to my new YouTube channel and various social media accounts to the homepage of this blog as well as making some changes to the look and feel of Next35.com
